About
Money software that works for you, not for advertisers.
Flittly is a personal finance app that keeps your data on your own computer.
Why Flittly exists
Tracking your money should not require handing your bank logins and transactions to a company whose business is your data. Flittly imports your statements and your exports from other apps, sorts and budgets them, and plans ahead, all on your own computer, with AI that runs there too.
An optional cloud adds bank connections, the web app and sync for people who want them. It is coming soon, and the app does not need it.
Who builds it
Flittly is made by Joshua Colson, an independent developer in Texas. There is no venture-backed team behind it and no advertising business model. You can reach the person who builds it at support@flittly.com.
Principles
- Your data stays yours. The device is the source of truth. Nothing leaves it unless you turn on a feature that needs to.
- No ads, no tracking, no selling your data.
- Local features stay free. Anything that runs on your computer is never put behind a paywall. We only charge for what costs us money, such as bank connections and hosting.
- Plain claims. If this site says the app does something, it does. Read how it handles your data and check the app's own Security page.
- Works with any bank. Flittly reads the files your bank already gives you.
